Skyline Gila River and Compass Sports Performance proudly host the 1st annual RISING NATIONS INVITATIONAL in Chandler, Arizona — an action-packed NABI Qualifying, fully loaded tournament featuring all native teams where the winners receive automatic entry into NABI (Native American Basketball Invitational).

As a NABI Qualifying Tournament, Rising Nations will host some of the most elite Native American high school basketball teams from across the state and nation.

Hosted by Skyline Gila River, an all Native American school in Chandler, AZ and Compass Sports Performance, a youth sports development organization, Rising Nations Invitational will bring together schools across the great state of Arizona as well as other schools from across the country.

Tournament Division: High School - Grades 9-12 - Boys and Girls

• As of July 31 you are still 18 years old and in grade 12, you are eligible.
• As of July 31 you are already 19 years of age or you have graduated, you are ineligible to play in this tournament.
• Players are encouraged to verify age through National Sports ID

*If you turned 19 years of age prior to August 1, you are ineligible to play in this tournament. Violations will result in forfeiture of any wins or ability to play in NABI. Not providing information related to requests for age verification will result in forfeiture of any wins and fine.

The Rising Nations Invitational is an Official NABI Qualifying Tournament. Participation in, or qualification through, this tournament does not guarantee entry into NABI. All teams and athletes must meet NABI eligibility requirements and comply with all NABI rules, documentation, and verification procedures. NABI and Rising Nations Invitational reserve the right to deny participation to any coach, team or athlete who does not satisfy its requirements.

*All coaches require a background check through National Sports ID or a Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Entry fees for guests other than team members are:

• 3 day pass - $50
• Daily Pass - $20
• Parking - No Charge

Teams are responsible for their own food, lodging an transportation to and from the event.

What are the age divisions? This tournament is HS only, see ages above.

When are schedules posted? Tournament Director will post schedules and provide team managers information the week of the event.

Do you provide referees or event staff? Yes we have referees and event staff on site. They are not responsible for supervision of children.

How do I register my team or child for Compass Sports Performance programs? Click on the register button above for league play or go to the "registration" button to see what we have available.

Do I have to be on a team to play in the Rising Nations Invitational? Yes, you need to register for the Rising Nations Invitational through your team. Age verifications WILL be required.

Are coaches required to have background checks? Yes, per NABI Rules, Coaches are required to receive background checks.

Can we rent gym space? We do not "rent" space in our facilities, but we offer memberships to clubs and individuals. Please contact us for more information. Teams are only able to utilize space for shoot around for a fee as part of the tournament.

Do you also host leagues? Yes, we host a leagues from ages 5-18+ and camps throughout the year. Get on our mailing list by becoming a member or reach out to us.

What is the refund policy? All registrations and payments are non-refundable. Due to the planning, scheduling, and resource commitments required to organize our leagues and programs, we are unable to offer refunds. Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us provide a consistent and high-quality experience for all participants.

What if I lost something at one of your facilities? Please reach out to us and we will try to help you locate it, however do to the volume of items left behind we donate items after one week. Please remember your items!
